Kalee Swanson and Kelvin Reynolds, two of our P2 students, were awarded Undergraduate Diversity Initiatives National level full travel awards from the international professional organization ‘Society of Toxicology’ this year. They attended the national meeting held at the Baltimore Convention Center, MD in March 11-15. Both were chosen from a total of 36 winners nationally by the Society of Toxicology.

Kalee and Kelvin also co-authored & presented a poster titled “Dietary Exposure to an Admixture of Polyphenolics Significantly Reduces Dimethylnitrosamine (DMN)-Induced Carcinogenic Changes in Mouse Lungs” which received great attention at the meeting.

Congratulations to Sipan Keshishyan, class of 2017, WHO won the college-wide ‘Excellence in Research Award’ from MANCHESTER UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF PHARMACY, NATURAL & HEALTH SCIENCES, May 12, 2017. He was recognized at the 2017 graduating class hooding ceremony at the Mirro Center, ParkView Medical Complex at Fort Wayne, IN in May 2017.
